*a special note on this photo, this was taken after protests near the university in Antioquia. Police had sprayed tear gas earlier, which I personally, felt the after effects of from about forty or fifty meters away. As I headed to the train station, a student warned me away (was with my ten-year-old son), saying they were currently in a revolution. The Washington Post has an article giving some context around these protests that have been going on for some time now. I recommend learning more wherever you can.
